Direct cremations, also known as unattended cremation, are a popular, low-cost alternative to traditional funerals. Direct cremations allow for this alternative, with the option to have the ashes hand-delivered to your door, thus giving you the freedom, time, and ease to plan your own celebration of their life.
We offer direct cremation in London including North London, South London, Central London, and East London, as well as across all of both England and Wales for the same fixed price of £895.
Direct Cremation in West London
Direct Cremation separates the cremation itself from the funeral service. This provides you with the flexibility to arrange your own send off with family and friends in your own time. In order to make this challenging time as easy as possible for you, We will provide you with an exact price for our service, starting at £895, with no hidden costs or upfront payments. We will also take the stress away from any paperwork, with our team handling legal documentations for you.
Your loved one will then be collected by us from any hospital or mortuary in West London, and taken directly to our regional crematorium. Whilst you will not be present for the cremation, you will be kept informed throughout your experience, and we will make sure you know the date and time of the cremation in advance.
It’s then up to you whether you would like us to scatter the ashes for you, free of charge, in our peaceful Garden of Remembrance. Or, if you would prefer to have the ashes returned to you, at the additional cost of £91.
From here you have the freedom, and the time, to plan your desired event. Direct cremation affords you the flexibility to make arrangements at your own pace, without the pressure of the time constraints typical of more traditional funeral services.
Payment and Optional Extras
Direct cremation starts at £895, and includes nationwide transportation of your loved one, an environmentally-friendly British made coffin, the cremation itself, and the scattering of the ashes in the Garden of Remembrance. But we also offer optional extras at an additional cost.
You can choose to have the ashes hand delivered to you in a sustainable, wooden urn complete with an engraved nameplate at your convenience for £91.
We also offer a doctor’s certification at £82, the fee set by the British medical Certification. This process will be handled by our team to make the process as smooth as possible for you.
Whilst collection from any hospital or coroner is included in our standard fee, collections from hospices, nursing homes, or private residences incurs an additional fee of £250, to enable us to partner with local funeral directors.
We will only send you an invoice after the cremation has taken place, with standard payment terms within 2 weeks of the cremation. We also do not require any deposits or upfront payments.
